Cares about people not the bottom line

After being treated poorly by a very busy, popular Airdrie agent we found Rikki with Hippo Travel.

She picked up the pieces and actually cared about helping us with our dream vacation. The other agent sent only prices and got frustrated when I asked questions, NOT Rikki she encouraged us to ask the questions.

We have been waiting 5 years for our vacation for my 40th birthday and already had to cancel once as I broke my ankle. So rebooking our vacation had extra meaning to us. We originally had booked on our own but being off season now we could afford a way nicer hotel and wanted to use an agent this time and so glad we did.

Rikki went above and beyond for us. Even spending hours on hold with WestJet to see if we could move our Avion travel credit with WestJet to just a WestJet credit. She also offered her actual opinion on what she felt would be good for our family. She actually asked us questions about what we valued as a family etc. I can’t tell you how different of an experience this was from the first agent. You can tell Rikki takes pride in her work and it’s more to her than just a quick booking.
